Berger Maritiem. Started out as a maritime consultant. Nowadays a trading and consulting company with a comprehensive package of sustainable solutions that are fully in line with our passion: helping ship owners and shipping companies by reducing their environmental footprint. Since our foundation in 2012, we have specialized in the following areas of sustainability: performance optimization (energy efficiency), efficient propulsion (electric, hybrid and diesel driven), emission-reduction techniques (CO2, NOx, PM and SOx), ballast water treatment and sustainable ship recycling.
We focus especially on ship owners and shipping companies that often find it difficult to make space with in-house capacity, knowledge or expertise for greening their business. Herewith, we strive to come up with sustainable solutions that not only lower your environmental footprint but the ones that also lower your operational cost and finally contribute to a better competitive edge.
Kees Berger, founder of Berger Maritiem, started the company as a self-employed professional. Nowadays Berger Maritiem has grown into a modern family business with leading sustainability partners who want to make the difference for the customer, just like our goal.
